Cessnock High School has provided learning opportunities for the Cessnock Community on the current site since 1937. Students from five public schools attend our school including Cessnock, Cessnock East, Abermain, Kearsley and Kitchener. A focus on a broad general education provides opportunities for all students. Students are actively encouraged to participate and excel in learning in academic, vocational, sporting, leisure, cultural and citizenship activities. Students who experience difficulties are well catered for by a caring literacy and numeracy team, and a supportive welfare structure.
